In 2012, L'ACFA is please to combine Plamondon's ever popular "Cabane à Sucre" with the annual “HOCKEY EN FÊTE” (Provincial French Hockey Tournament). In 2012 new family oriented activities will be presented throught the weekend, and the people of our community will have the opportunity to cheer for their children, cousins, teachers, co-workers, parents or even grand-parents playing on the ice. French hockey teams and their families from all over Alberta will be here to celebrate Le Carnaval D'Hiver with us.

This event is mud flinging, wheel spinning, and playing in the mud. Come watch the drivers tackle the mud pits at this CMRO sanctioned mud bog event. The family will be sure to enjoy the children's festival, amateur & professional races, vintage tractor pulls, classic car show, Sunday's aerial bike show and more. Come get dirty in Plamondon!!!

December 1, 2011 Christmas Festival de Noël
The annual Festival held the first Saturday of December is a Christmas community event. The Ag. Society sponsors a Bench Show in the Christmas theme, and a Childrens' Activity Centre offers a photo sitting with Santa. The popular craft show, running for 20 years, features some 30 vendors for last minute handcrafted gifts and stocking stuffers. December 8, 2011 Plamondon Business Community Christmas Party
Hosted by Plamondon District Community Development Society. This event has become one of Plamondon's most popular events to attend. Weather you are just a member of the community or a company bringing your staff for some fine dining, gut busting entertainment and dance, the Plamondon Business & Community Christmas Party is sure to be a great time. Just so you know how popular this event is, last year 450 tickets sold out in a little over four hours.
