St. Isidore's Church in the hamlet of Plamondon was built in 1927 with Rev. Ovide Desroches in charge and many hours of donated community help from the parishioners. The Church is now 80 years old and in need of a significant facelift.

The Maintenance Society was registered in November of 2000 as a non-profit charitable organization to oversee, manage, and maintain the physical and financial aspect of the renovation project of the church.

Historical Chapelle Society

Our Historical Chapelle, Plamondon’s first church built in 1911 was completely restored for its centennial and it has a quaint and comforting feel to it. This winter, join us for a non denominational candlelit mass, followed by carolling in a horse & sleigh bringing us to the Mini Parc Heritage Park for old fashioned kettle cooked popcorn, ginger cake with hot buttered rhum sauce, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Come and enjoy a relaxing evening of enchanted winter wonderland activities.
